You fit the Rockit to the stroller using the universal bracket which is supplied in the box. This can stay permanently fitted to the pushchair or pram but can also be removed and re-positioned if required. The Rockit then slots in and out of the bracket very quickly and easily.

Turn the wheel clockwise to tighten the bracket onto the stroller – and anti-clockwise to loosen.

My rockit does not always start

If your Rockit does not start, or takes multiple button presses to start, check it is adequately charged. Also make sure that it is rotated so it points directly up with the button on top. If this problem persists with a fully charged, vertical Rockit, please contact our customer support for further support.

How do I adjust the speed?

There is a speed dial at the base of the Rockit. Turn it clockwise to increase the speed and anti-clockwise to reduce the speed. Slowly change the speed until you notice the most rocking. It may not be the fastest speed – often you can get a nice rock at lower speeds if you hit the sweet spot (resonance frequency) of your particular stroller / pram. Mounting the Rockit high on the frame or top handle will also allow you to generate a nice rock at lower speeds.

Does Rockit work with all makes of prams and pushchairs?

We think so. We designed a universal bracket (included in every box) to fit tubes of all different shapes or sizes, whether they are square, oval or round. Our lead designer spent many a long hour in baby stores testing on 40+ different pushchairs in order to perfect the bracket. We can’t give a 100% guarantee on this because there are always new products hitting the market but we do believe that there should be somewhere on any pushchair that the Rockit will fit.

What age can I use Rockit with?

The Rockit is suitable for use with children from birth up until around 3 years old. Our own children still slept in the pushchair up to age 3, so we think it will be useful for several years if bought at birth.

Is the rocking motion safe?

Yes. We have based the rocking motion on the way parents rock their children by hand. Scientific tests show the vibration level closely mimics the normal hand rocking of a pushchair and the subtle yet soothing movement is gentler than a pushchair moving over paving stones.

Can I use Rockit on a cot or crib?

The Rockit was designed and tested for pushchairs and prams. A helping hand when you are out and about. Rockit was extensively safety tested by Intertek, a global product testing company and they felt that it might be mounted by a tired parent on a bar inside the cot, where the baby could snag clothing. Because we want to adhere to the highest safety standard for all our products we’re not able to recommend use on cots, cribs or Moses baskets.

Can I use Rockit on a car seat?

Rockit was designed and tested specifically for pushchairs and prams, so we don’t recommend use on car seats when fitted in a car. It can be used on a car seat when fitted to a stroller frame, but we always recommend customers follow the general guidance given on safe sleep.

Why is there a 60 minute timer on the Rockit?

The Rockit is not designed to keep a child asleep for an extended period. It is meant to be a helping hand to soothe a baby and help them drift off to sleep or maintain their sleep when the pushchair or pram stops. Babies often sleep in cycles of around 40 minutes, so it is designed to help them get through one full sleep cycle after which time they may be in a deeper sleep and no longer need rocking.

Can the Rockit be used in the rain?

The Rockit is showerproof (tested to IPX1 standard). Avoid exposure to prolonged or heavy rain. Always ensure that the rubber cover for the USB ports is fitted securely.

How long does it take to change the Rockit?

It takes 5-6 hours to fully charge, but you can achieve about 3 hours use on a medium speed with a 1 hour charge.

How long does a full charge last?

It varies depending on various factors including the type of stroller it’s fixed to, the weight of the baby and also the ambient temperature. If used at a low to medium speed you should expect to get around 8-12 hours at room temperature.

How can I increase the running time between charges?

Mount the Rockit as high up as possible on the stroller frame. Make sure that the Rockit is rotated so it points direct up with the button on top. Adjust the speed dial to give a slower rock (slower speeds are often more effective anyway).

Does the Rockit work on twin/double prams or strollers?

Yes! We have had many compliments from parents who find it very useful with twins. It fits most double prams or strollers that we are aware of and rocks them well.

How do I set the perfect rocking speed?

1) You will get the best rock with it mounted as high on the handle as possible. Always make sure the Rockit is pointing directly up.
2) Turn on with the button on top
3) Slowly change the speed until you notice the most rocking. It may not be the fastest speed – often you can get a nice rock at lower speeds if you hit the sweet spot (resonance frequency) of your particular stroller / pram.
4) Or you may just want to set it to the speed your baby likes the most!
