Woolbabe X Honest Wolf is a collab made in heaven!

We made a Wool Moses Basket together with our friends at Honest Wolf. Made using 100% NZ Wool from the Papanui Estate, this wool has been cared for and sustainably farmed in the North Island of New Zealand. It is biodegradable, renewable and best of all, sustainable.

Choosing a wool moses basket means you are choosing a safe sleeping space that is breathable down to the fibre level and naturally allows airflow. The breathability of wool keeps delicate skin warm without overheating, keeping your baby comfortable at all times. It has 2 sturdy handles for easy carrying around the house (please do not carry the moses basket with your baby inside!). This moses basket comes with a mattress made from natural latex and has a removable cotton cover. It is supportive, durable, eco-friendly and made with fewer chemicals. The Woolbabe fitted sheet is made from our beloved Woolbabe fabric - 30% merino wool and 70% organic cotton.

These moses baskets are made with the idea of being passed down and used for generations to come. To help with this vision, care is an important factor. Simply brush your moses basket once a month to keep in top condition, you can purchase a wool brush separately.

Warning -

This basket is suitable for a newborn infant who cannot sit up or roll over by itself and cannot push itself up on its hands and knees.

Position moses basket on the floor, a flat surface or use with a recommended stand, away from direct heat sources or fire. Do not carry or move this basket whilst child is in it. Do not let handles hang inside the basket.

It is important to keep this basket dry and follow the care and storage instructions to ensure product longevity. Do not store in plastic, this can cause condensation to form. Ensure air is able to circulate. Remove mattress to air regularly.

Care

Remove mattress regularly to air basket and mattress.

Moses basket - Spot clean only with mild detergent. Do not bleach. Air dry away from direct heat.

Removable cover - warm machine wash with like colours. Do not bleach, dry clean or tumble dry. Line dry only.

Mattress - Spot clean only with mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean. Dry away from direct heat.

Fitted sheet - Gentle machine wash or hand wash cold (30°C) using wool detergent. Line dry or low tumble dry immediately after washing. Do not hot wash, hot tumble dry, soak or bleach.

We offer fast, economical shipping across New Zealand. All items on our website are in stock, ready to dispatch (excludes pre-order or custom size items). Most orders arrive within 1-3 business days. Auckland shipping is generally overnight or you can choose Click and Collect.

Shipping starts from $5 for small items. Just add your items to your cart and use the Shipping Estimator in the Mini Cart or Cart with your post code. Please double check your shipping in the checkout, particularly for large items which the estimator doesn’t accurately calculate.

We ship with Courier Post & Fastway. Packages are sent Non-Signature Required unless over $350 value or you request Signature Required for security concerns. If you are rural, we don’t charge extra but please do include a note on your order so we can ticket your package correctly. Please allow additional days for rural or you are ordering during holiday periods or major promotions.
