Light information
Hushh2 has a nighlight that has a warm amber glow, that won't disrupt sleep cycles. It is adjustable so you can find the perfect amount of glow for you and your bub.
It also has backlit 'easy-to-see' buttons on the back of unit for nighttime operation in the dark. No more fumbling in the dark! The backlit buttons stay illuminated when the machine is powered on.
Volume information
The Hushh 2 has a wide volume range, giving you a lot of flexibility in terms of how loud you play it and where you use it. Most customers find low to medium volume quite sufficient and this will also mean that the charge lasts for longer as the higher the volume, the shorter the battery time.
We do not
recommend having the Hushh 2 close to your baby on maximum volume as it is
very loud. It is different to the Baby Shusher for example, which is
designed for use close to baby and operates for a limited time rather
than continuously. The maximum volume would be suitable if you are using
the Hushh 2 plugged in across the room from your baby and only for short
periods.
Battery power information
The Hushh 2 has an internal rechargeable battery which means you never need to replace batteries or worry about your child opening the machine and playing with batteries. The battery is charged using the USB cable supplied with your unit.
The battery can last up to 34 hours, depending on a number of factors:
- You will get the best battery life from your Hushh 2 when it is used on medium volume without the nightlight.
- Basically the lower the volume played at, the longer your Hushh 2 battery will last (and considerably longer when the light is not used).
- We recommend charging with a good quality charger, such as the good quality chargers supplied with a phone or a Belkin brand charger. Cheap phone chargers take much longer to charge and may not fully charge your Hushh 2.
USB power cord information
The Hushh 2 comes with a USB cable cord, but not a power plug or adapter. The Hushh 2 is intended to be used as a portable machine. Please do not leave the unit plugged into power for an extended period of time as this can damage the internal rechargeable battery. It is recommended that you only use the USB cord provided with your Hushh 2. Using any other cord can result in damaging your unit and/or does not provide sufficient power to run your unit. We suggest popping a sticker/marker on your Hushh 2 cord so you can differentiate between other USB cords you may have in your household.
Please note: the cord for the Hushh+ and the Hushh 2 are electronically compatible, however they are different colours.
This unit is intended for portable use - do not leave plugged in for more than 5 consecutive days.

How to Set Child Lock
- To turn Child Lock on, long press Child Lock button.
- The LED indicator will remain on when Child Lock is active.
- To turn off, long press the Child Lock button once.
How to Set Timer
- Push the Timer button. An LED will light up under the timer you have set; either 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours.
- The sound machine's volume will gradually decrease during the last 2 minutes and then turn completely off at the desired time.
- To deactivate the timer, press the Timer button to cycle through time settings until no LED light is illuminated.
- The timer LED will remain illuminated while the timer is active.
How to Operate Backlit Buttons
- To illuminate the buttons, press any button
- The buttons will stop illuminating after 10 seconds if the power button is not pressed within that 10 second period
- The buttons will remain illuminated if the power button is turned on within the 10 second period
To clean your Hushh 2, gently wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
Does the Hushh 2 come with a power cable?
Yes, the Hushh 2 comes with a USB charging cable. A 5VDC/1A power adapter is required but not included.
What do the flashing indicator lights mean?
If your Hushh 2 battery is low, the indicator light will blink quickly. While your device is charging, the indicator light will blink slowly. When your device is fully charged, the indicator light will turn off completely.
The buttons aren't working on my Hushh 2. What do I do?
Make sure the child lock is not activated on your Hushh 2. The LED indicator will remain on when child lock is active. When the child lock is activated and other buttons are pressed, the buttons will not work. To deactivate the child lock, long press the child lock button once and then try pressing the desired button again.
